Job Summary
Operations Manager responsible for assisting the General Manager and overseeing Back of House functions at Sparrow Italia in Miami. Works with the General Manager and Executive Chef to set direction of daily operations, drives sales, manages costs, and grows the business. Oversees interviewing, hiring, training, performance reviews, and development of staff; ensures health code and sanitation compliance; coordinates maintenance; supervises BOH and front-of-house operations; manages inventory, labor, and payroll; and handles customer issues with tact and courtesy. Requires a college degree in Business or Hospitality (or equivalent experience) and 2-3 years in a management role. Strong communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a focus on guest experiences are essential.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Business, Hospitality, or a Related field; or equivalent mix of education and experience
- Two to three years in a management position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
