Job Summary
Oversee and manage daily service scheduling, customer care, and invoicing while planning workforce and material needs for seasonal demand. Coordinate vehicle fleet maintenance, repairs, and licensing; design service processes including work orders, parts requisitions, and dispatch activities. Maintain fuel distribution and inventory quality compliance, ensure timely safety meetings, and manage DOT, vehicle, and employee compliance. Review and approve weekly time cards, conduct performance reviews, and lead coaching focused on customer service. Requires valid Class A or B CDL with hazardous materials endorsements, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Valid Hazardous Materials endorsement
- Valid Airbrakes endorsement
- Valid Tanker endorsement
- Working knowledge of DOT safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Past field work in the propane and distillate retail business
- CTEP certification
- Gas piping experience
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable with technology for daily use of various back-office systems
- Ability to provide leadership through coaching and mentoring with a focus on customer service
