Job Summary
Ensure compliance with service standards, federal, state, and local regulations while supervising day-to-day activities of one or more food and beverage outlets. Plan work, enforce policies, and recommend staffing actions; alert management of serious issues. Train staff, greet guests, and implement service recovery guidelines to ensure satisfaction. Assist with creating promotions, developing new menus, and monitoring performance through guest feedback and financial analysis to achieve budgeted revenues and control costs. Maintain inventory security, replenish supplies, and ensure equipment and facilities are operational and clean. Coordinate special events as needed. May work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full service restaurant/nightclub or similar setting
- Must speak fluent English
- Communication skills
- Reading and writing abilities
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Moving about the outlet(s) safely and efficiently
- Handling food, objects, products and utensils
- Bending, stooping, and kneeling
