Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day branch operations by partnering with the Branch Manager, leading the Inside Sales team, and ensuring accurate processing of customer orders and deliveries. Manage purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships while coordinating daily delivery schedules and handling payroll reporting for warehouse and delivery staff. Support branch compliance with DOT requirements, safety initiatives, and preventative maintenance programs to maintain optimal stock levels and operational efficiency. Contribute ideas to improve workflows and support continued branch growth while staying informed on industry trends and product offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a building materials, distribution, wholesale, or industrial environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with purchasing, inventory management, customer service, or branch operations
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
