Job Summary
Lead and manage the remote VA team for guest communications, maintenance scheduling, and administrative tasks while handling guest escalations to ensure professional resolutions. Optimize guest communication workflows to balance efficiency with a 5-star experience and maintain operational systems by suggesting and implementing improved tools. Collaborate with directors, revenue, and pricing managers to align daily operations with company growth targets toward scaling past 200 units. Produce detailed performance reports on guest services, reassign team priorities as needs shift, and proactively identify and resolve operational issues. Build, refine, and enforce business systems while leading team development through training, expectations, and performance reviews to drive a culture of accountability and ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Short-term rental experience
- Hospitality experience in operations management
- Has managed 75 + units at a time
- Looking for someone who can take ownership of operations and run things with a high level of accountability
- Manage staff effectively and hold them accountable
- Produce detailed performance reports, especially on guest services
- Reassign and manage team priorities as things shift
- Identify operational issues early and proactively resolve them
- Build, refine, and enforce systems across the business
- Lead and develop the team through training, expectations, and performance reviews
- Provide strategic input and help drive the business as we scale
- Maintain strong communication and give consistent reporting so nothing falls through the cracks
