Job Summary
Coordinate warehouse operations by planning, directing, and scheduling staff jobs while managing performance through coaching and motivation. Recruit hourly employees and oversee cost control measures to strengthen gross profit. Maintain equipment reliability via third-party vendors and safeguard company assets. Analyze and resolve complex operational issues while handling warehouse accounting and inventory control systems. Work 7 AM to 7:30 PM Wednesday through Saturday with a high school diploma and five years of warehouse experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work
- 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience
- Standing/Walking 75% of the time
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues
- Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff
- Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance
- Proficient at MS Office
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized
- Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping
- Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system
- Working knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Professional certification
