Job Summary
Operations Manager for Streets & Drainage responsible for directing Public Works staff and activities to maintain roadway and drainage infrastructure in safe condition, aligning services with city objectives and laws. Plans and manages infrastructure maintenance and special projects, oversees safety compliance with MUTCD, TCEQ, and OSHA; analyzes service demands and budgets; coordinates with city departments and external agencies; leads staff supervision, performance evaluations, and emergency response. Requires bachelor's degree in engineering/related field, five years of infrastructure management experience (two in supervision), and a Texas CDL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- Five years’ work experience managing infrastructure construction and maintenance projects, including two years supervisory experience
- Experience with City of Corinth preferred
- Must possess a valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License
- Knowledge of MUTCD and TCEQ regulations
- OSHA safety rules and regulations, and safety standards in hazardous traffic environments
- Experience with data collection/analysis, budgeting, and project management
- Strong leadership and staff development abilities
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
