Job Summary
Oversee daily landscape construction operations by scheduling crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors while managing multiple concurrent projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability. Conduct regular job site visits to verify safety compliance, quality standards, and client satisfaction, and resolve operational issues proactively to maintain project momentum. Monitor labor productivity, timelines, and performance metrics, then collaborate with estimating and sales teams during pre-construction planning. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of field staff, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts across all operations. Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company policies while maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in landscape construction operations, project management, or field leadership
- Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, site work, grading, drainage, hardscaping, planting, irrigation, and related construction practices
- Experience managing crews, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with budgeting, labor management, and operational planning preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel and construction/project management software preferred
