Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of building materials while managing truck dispatch and route optimization via SRS routing technology. Supervise drivers, loaders, and warehouse staff, coordinating loading/unloading processes and maintaining inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts and purchasing strategies. Lead safety audits and meetings to ensure compliance with standards, oversee maintenance of logistics equipment, and track work hours for all personnel. Collaborate with the Branch Manager on order processing, end-of-day balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires periodic travel within the local delivery area, physical activity including lifting up to 100 pounds, and a combination of office-based administrative tasks and hands-on warehouse oversight.
