Job Summary
Operations Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes, including brazing, assembly, welding, leak testing, and final packaging, with leadership of an operations team. Drive lean manufacturing transformation, ensure robotic processes operate optimally, implement quality standards, monitor performance metrics, manage production planning and department budgeting, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of teamwork and effective communication; require strong engineering background, blueprint reading, and familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality systems.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in an operations management role in manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of brazing, assembly, welding, press, and robotics processes
- Leadership skills and teamwork skills
- Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with quality tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP
- Experience implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standards
- Conversational English skills to communicate with customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations in manufacturing processes
