Job Summary
Operations Manager role leading a critical manufacturing operation in Orrville, OH. Responsible for safety, quality, cost, reliability, sustainability, and people development; drive continuous improvement; lead and develop the manufacturing team; partner with HR and Plant Manager on labor relations and union negotiations; oversee budgets; ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and FDA regulations; capable of long hours and adapting to requirements in a fast-paced environment. The role requires TPM/Lean/Six Sigma experience, strong leadership, and performance improvement capabilities to deliver operational excellence across the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Food or Pharma manufacturing experience is required
- Experience implementing TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other high-performance work systems is required
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing leaders is required
- Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and FDA regulations strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
