Job Summary
Inspect and measure Service Center performance to identify problems and develop solutions while analyzing revenue statistics and competitor developments. Recruit, qualify, interview, hire, train, and develop Service Center personnel, including drivers and dock workers, while managing sales staff. Develop sales and marketing action plans to maximize territory revenue and handle special assignments. Investigate and report accidents, job-related injuries, and employee discrepancies, ensuring compliance with DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA rules. Evaluate freight claims and maintain Service Center premises. Facilitate informational meetings with team members and effectively handle day-to-day operations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the LTL/ Transportation Industry
- Managed Drivers and Dock Workers
- Managed a Sales staff
- Has been responsible for developing and following a budget
