Operations Manager

Manage all day-to-day warehouse, freight forwarding, and 3PL operations, overseeing inbound and outbound services, consolidation, and distribution activities. Ensure customer shipments are processed accurately and shipped on time while establishing daily operational priorities that balance labor, equipment, and customer demands. Develop Standard Operating Procedures, lead daily meetings, and coordinate island shipments with complete documentation. Utilize WMS and RF scanning technology to maximize efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy through audits, and optimize space utilization. Monitor departmental budgets, manage labor scheduling, and develop dashboards to track KPIs. Lead, coach, and mentor supervisors and operations personnel, conducting performance evaluations and supporting hiring and succession planning. Serve as the operational point of contact for key accounts, resolving escalations and partnering with sales to support growth. Ensure compliance with OSHA, TSA, and Hazmat policies while promoting a proactive safety culture through regular inspections and training.
