Job Summary
Lead a team of 25-30 members across L1 Executives through Leads, managing Business IT Operations for US clients and overseeing 24x7 database environments. Direct DBA activities for production and development systems, supporting multi-terabyte databases with MS SQL Server, HADR configuration, Always On, and replication. Identify and resolve bottlenecks while driving projects in vendor, service, process, and quality management. Analyze operational workflows with data specialists to improve efficiency and user experience. Design career development plans and manage the strategic vendor roadmap. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

- Strong knowledge in Database Administration
- Hands-on experience in MS SQL server
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision
- Design career development plans for team members that help them discover and achieve their career goals
- Drive programs and projects focused on implementing, managing, and evolving core operational competencies involving vendor management, service and process management, quality management, data reporting and analytics, workflow automation etc
- Oversee the health of the team's operational services and processes
- Manage strategic vendor roadmap and vendor program deliverables in alignment with the team's service goals
- Work cross-functionally and with process and data specialists on analyzing operational workflows, and drive improvements for user experience, efficiency, and quality
- Support databases for production and development
- Experience with Multi terabytes size databases
- Experience with identifying bottlenecks and fixing them
- Strong knowledge of HADR configuration
- Hands-on experience with Always On
- Hands-on experience with replication
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
