Operations Manager

Job Summary
Lead daily operations to deliver on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives by translating business goals into actionable plans and monitoring production outputs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and optimize throughput while establishing standard work practices. Develop frontline supervisors and operational teams to build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and talent capability. Champion safety compliance, lead incident investigations, and ensure adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements. Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation while partnering with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and capital projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 7–10+ years of progressive operations experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and supervisors
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence frameworks
- Experience with ERP systems and operational data analysis
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to lead through others and drive operational accountability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Results-oriented with strong execution discipline
- Fast-paced operational environment with regular presence on the floor/site
- May include extended hours, shift support, or travel depending on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA or related field)
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience in multi-site or complex operational environments
