Responsibilities include acting as manager on duty, opening/closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, enforcing policies, conducting shift management meetings, using required tools/logs to support shift execution, deploying crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, recognizing and rewarding staff, approving employee actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides), maintaining cleanliness and safety, and performing additional duties as assigned. Essential functions emphasize lifting up to 50 lbs, navigating stairs, accurate order taking and payments, safe operation around hot equipment and cleaning supplies, maintaining food-safety procedures, occasional travel for work-related purposes, and working across various shifts. Required qualifications include being 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in restaurant/retail management, a valid driver’s license, completion of company training, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include New Restaurant opening experience.
