Job Summary
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the Restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of Restaurant operations. Core duties include serving as manager on duty and opening/closing the restaurant, managing cash handling and accountability, enforcing policies and standards, conducting shift-management meetings, using required tools/logs to support shift execution and corrective actions, deploying crewmembers during shifts, delivering exemplary customer service, utilizing reward and recognition programs, authorizing employee functions requiring manager approval, ensuring cleanliness and proper facility operations, and performing other duties as assigned. Essential functions include lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, navigating stairs, taking orders, processing payments, working safely around hot equipment, maintaining food-safety procedures, and occasional work-related travel for coverage or vacancies. The role requires leadership, organization, problem-solving, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
- Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
