Job Summary
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the Restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of Restaurant operations. Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the Restaurant; manages cash handling and ensures accountability; enforces policies and standards; executes shift management meetings; uses required tools/logs to support shift execution and corrective action; deploys crewmembers during a shift; provides exemplary customer service; utilizes reward and recognition programs for crew; authorizes manager-level actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides); ensures cleanliness and proper facility condition; performs other duties as assigned. Essential functions include lifting up to 50 lbs, navigating stairs, taking orders, processing payments, safe operation around cooking equipment, maintaining food safety procedures, occasionally driving for Company needs, and completing company training programs. “Qualifications” emphasize 18+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of management experience, valid driver’s license, flexibility in shifts, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; preferred qualifications include new restaurant opening experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
- Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
