Job Summary
The Operations Manager will support the Restaurant Leader in achieving operational excellence and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all restaurant operations. Responsible for opening/closing the restaurant, managing cash handling and accountability, enforcing policies, leading shift execution and safety, deploying crewmembers, delivering exemplary customer service, utilizing the recognition program for employees, authorizing manager-approved actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides, etc.), maintaining cleanliness and safe operations, and performing other assigned duties. Essential functions include lifting up to 50 lbs, navigating stairs, accurate order taking and payments, safe operation around hot cooking equipment, driving occasionally for business needs, and traveling for training or role vacancies. Requires 18+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of management in restaurant or retail, valid driver’s license, completion of company training, flexible availability including weekends and travel, strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with technology systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience
- Possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
