Job Summary
Direct daily operations, manage field teams, and coordinate route execution while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Develop continuous improvement processes for production, quality assurance, and workflow, and oversee hiring, training, and retention of employees. Resolve customer issues, monitor driver and laborer attendance to minimize overtime, and manage the Assistant Operations Manager. Ensure all drivers in training are certified and maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal ordinances.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of supervisory or management experience leading frontline employees and coordinating daily operations
- 3-5+ years of experience in field operations, transportation, logistics, service delivery, or a related operational environment
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial settings with exposure to varying weather conditions and operational environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred or ability to obtain and maintain one
- Experience utilizing routing, dispatch, scheduling, workforce management, or other operational software platforms
