Job Summary
Lead and optimize daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and workflow while ensuring compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Direct supervisors and team leads to strengthen leadership capability, implement continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, and maintain effective workforce training programs. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to support operational goals and represent the organization professionally with external stakeholders. This role supports the manufacturing of critical hardware for key defense programs and missions to space.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience in a precision manufacturing environment)
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, power generation or other highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve measurable results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Experience in production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience navigating OEM requirements, particularly as they relate to the manufacturing and quality standards for engine components
- United States citizenship
