Job Summary
Manage wholesale partnerships and auction relationships to maximize inventory acquisition and profitability. Oversee marketing initiatives for pre-owned boats and ATVs, ensuring accurate digital representation across sales platforms. Monitor sales, aging, and inventory trends to execute plans that meet or exceed financial goals. Conduct evaluations, purchases, and pricing for used power sports inventory while preparing annual operating forecasts and budgets. Train dealership outfitters on trade-in procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support a strong commitment to customer service and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years in dealership retail, wholesale, pre-owned inventory management, or related industry experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business
- Certificate(s)
- License(s)
- Experience managing online inventory listings and digital merchandising across multiple sales platforms
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with wholesale partners, auction providers, and dealership teams
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in a friendly and professional manner establishing effective working relationships with vendors, customers, co-workers and Base Camp Team members
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sales and trend forecasting experience
- Experience with used evaluations
- Strong math aptitude to be able to calculate figures and amounts and to interpret a variety of financial, legal and technical information
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Proficiency with MS Office, database management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems
- 20% to auction sites and facility locations
