Operations Manager - Power Solutions Logistics

Job Summary
Develop and improve efficient hauling operations for logistics movements while optimizing fleet utilization and balancing internal capacity with third-party carriers. Establish financial plans, utilization targets, and KPI goals to manage revenue, costs, and service metrics. Recruit, hire, schedule, and develop drivers, dispatchers, and support staff, ensuring DOT compliance and accurate shipping documentation. Monitor Hours of Service, review logs and violations, and conduct coaching or disciplinary actions as necessary. Ensure 100% on-time deliveries to job sites and maintain a strong safety culture in partnership with HSE. Analyze mileage, payroll, and overtime to control costs. Requires 4-5 years of domestic shipping experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Shifts may exceed 8 hours with work in both office and field environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of the oilfield industry, products, and services
- Ability to develop and improve hauling capabilities
- Thorough knowledge of trucking regulations
- Strong operational, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to understand, speak, receive, and respond to operational and safety-related communications in English
- 4-5 years of domestic shipping and logistics experience preferred
- Experience supporting transportation of materials for Oil & Gas or Energy customers preferred
- Experienced transportation or logistics leader
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and fleet management
- Proven background in driver management and dispatch operations
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets, utilization, and cost controls
- Oilfield, energy, or industrial transportation experience preferred
- Strong leadership, compliance, and safety mindset
- Ability to balance operational efficiency with customer service and profitability
