Job Summary
The Operations Manager for Packaging and Customization Services (PACS) is accountable for overseeing production operations and driving performance within assigned facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining KPIs, ensuring compliance with operational regulations, and focusing on continuous improvement. Candidates must possess at least 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years in packaging and displays, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial interpretation. This role requires leadership in resource management and communication with both internal teams and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising packing, light manufacturing and/or assembly operations
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with packaging and displays including design, manufacturing, logistics and/or merchandising
- PC literate with a command of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public
- Ability to properly manage P&L
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
