Job Summary
Supervises day-to-day operations within the Carvana Inspection Center, overseeing a team of 5 leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. Responsible for the vehicle reconditioning process, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production and cost objectives, and a culture of continuous improvement. Mentors and trains staff, manages performance, plans capacity, ensures health and safety compliance, and leads problem solving and improvement efforts to deliver high-quality vehicles for Carvana customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience leading and developing associates
- Proven ability to deliver projects and meet company metrics
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently
