Job Summary
Design, implement, and oversee all safety protocols to protect students. Manage the vehicle fleet and coordinate safe student transit. Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships. Lead regular safety drills for staff and students, including fire, weather, and intruder scenarios. Coordinate and track CPR, First Aid, and vehicle safety training. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in health and safety management or related field, three years of operations management experience, and five years in safety or staff supervision. Current CPR/First Aid certification is required; instructor certification is a plus. A CDL Class B with School bus endorsement is preferred. Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety management or related field
- 3+ years experience in operations management, logistics, or facility leadership
- 5+ years experience in safety related field
- 5+ years of staff supervisory experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and fleet maintenance
- CDL Class B with School bus endorsement
- Willingness to drive
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and driving record review
