Job Summary

Manage daily operations, assign tasks, and provide coaching to ensure high-quality guest services align with company standards. Coordinate guest meals and menus emphasizing Harm Reduction practices while conducting weekly safety inspections and monitoring hazard communications. Train staff on crisis intervention, lead monthly GSA meetings, and conduct annual performance appraisals with direct reports. Collaborate with leadership to maintain budget oversight, manage census caps, and implement corrective action plans. Review and approve timecards for compliance with CA labor laws, ensuring accurate documentation of incident reports. This role supports the National Health Foundation's mission to address social determinants of health through food access, housing, and education initiatives in the Historic South Los Angeles community.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' supervisory experience with demonstrated experience of mentoring and coaching staff
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, solve problems, meet deadlines, follow through, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, guests, and visitors
  • Must be able to hear equipment alarms, overhead pages, and direct verbal communication

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of NFPA, EPA, and OSHA regulations
  • Current BLS certification
  • Prior working experience in residential treatment facility, mental health facility, substance abuse treatment center, or homeless shelter
