Job Summary
Operations Manager at Monterrey Tile overseeing warehouse & logistics operations across multiple departments in Chandler, AZ. Drive end-to-end operational flow, implement process improvements for layout, distribution, and logistics efficiency, manage facility maintenance, safety, and compliance, and monitor inventory and labor costs to maximize profit margins. Lead department leads, partner with HR and General Manager on employee relations, scheduling, and performance evaluations, and utilize Microsoft Office and warehouse metrics to track and report operational performance. Requires 10+ years of warehouse management experience, ability to operate outdoors and lift up to 75 lbs, and a track record of cross-department leadership and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of previous warehouse management experience
- Strong track record in distribution and logistics management
- Ability to actively walk and oversee a large 3-acre facility/yard footprint
- Work comfortably in outdoor weather elements
- Safely lift/move up to 75 lbs
- Proven ability to manage staff across multiple departments
- Implement process improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, strong decision-making, and proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to pass a felony background check
