Job Summary
Operations Manager in our food-based warehouse leading the Fulfillment Center’s daily performance, managing scheduling and operations reporting, and driving cross-functional teams (receiving, production, inventory control, shipping) to meet short- and long-term company goals. Responsible for safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FDA), implementing continuous improvement and standard operating procedures, developing a high-performing site leadership team, analyzing production data to identify opportunities, and maintaining strong communication with logistics, HR, and other departments to ensure on-time delivery and high product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
- An ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
- Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates
- An aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Strong team management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams
- Experience leading and motivating large teams
- Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes
- Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
- Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
