Job Summary
Operations Manager responsible for leading and optimizing Misfits Market's food-based warehouse operations. Manages scheduling, daily operations reports, and KPI development to drive production improvements. Leads cross-functional teams across receiving, production, inventory control, and shipping; champions continuous improvement and standard operating procedures; ensures safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, FDA); builds and develops a high-performance site leadership team; analyzes production data to identify improvements and implements corrective actions; maintains strong relationships with HR and operations partners; requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to stand and perform physically demanding warehouse tasks (up to 50 pounds) and manage multiple teams in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
- Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates
- An aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Strong team management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams
- Experience leading and motivating large teams
- Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes
