Job Summary
Operations Manager oversees construction operations for Commercial construction projects, providing strategic direction, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and staffing coordination. Responsible for client relationships, revenue growth, profitability, labor/material optimization, and cross-functional coordination across project teams; leads mentoring and development efforts, ensures safety and company procedures, drives timely billings and project reporting, and facilitates effective communication plans and post-project reviews. Strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration with subcontractors/vendors, and continuous process improvement to achieve project objectives and financial profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Financial acumen on construction financials
- Proven leadership ability and experience building and managing high performing teams
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, means and methods
- Ability to manage all aspects of construction effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting and scheduling
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and industry best practices
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
- Ability to work well with others
