Job Summary
Operations Manager for a manufacturing plant in Mendota, IL, leading the maintenance team, scheduling and implementing preventive and reactive maintenance, repairing equipment (hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical) to maintain maximum production, and ensuring safety and cost-effective operations. Responsibilities include setting daily work priorities, assigning work orders, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring PM schedules are followed, training and safety oversight, on-call coverage, and cross-training. Skills include MIG/TIG welding (preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle, the ability to diagnose electrical components and circuits (up to 480VAC 3-phase), and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather; the role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, working at heights up to 35 feet, and adherence to safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- At least three years related industrial maintenance experience
- At least 5 years of supervisory or lead experience
