Job Summary
Lead the Material Handling & Cranes Mechanical Maintenance team by developing a competent workforce, preparing staff reports, and creating development plans. Prepare maintenance plans for all mechanical equipment in coordination with the planning section and discuss operations problems for optimization with the Departmental Manager. Manage annual budgets for management approval and ensure maintenance activities are executed within allocated provisions. Plan and execute scheduled preventive, corrective, and major repairs to optimize production and reduce downtime while troubleshooting breakdowns. Lead training and evaluation for supervisors, senior technicians, and technicians, ensuring all equipment is inspected, maintained, and overhauled according to best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Effective communication skill
- Knowledge of IT (MS - Office) & SAP (Plant Maintenance & Material Management)
- Knowledge & Experience of CBM / RCM / TPM
- Good knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance of Material Handling Equipment's
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 / 14000 and OHSAS 18000 standard
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university
- About 8-12 years' experience in Material handling & Crane Plant Mechanical Maintenance as Head Mechanical or equivalent
- 5 Years in a Management Position
- 3-4 Years in implementation of engineering principles
- 3 years in a lifting equipment inspection
