Operations Manager

Oversee daily trucking operations across terminals, dispatch, routing, and fleet management to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence. Lead, coach, and develop a team of terminal managers, dispatchers, and drivers; foster safety, accountability, and performance. Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers; champion a safety-first culture. Manage fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations. Own operational budgets, cost control, and performance metrics; identify opportunities to improve margins through efficiency and innovation. Expedite billing by managing user discrepancy queue. Leverage TMS, telematics, and analytics to drive visibility, automation, and decision-making. Partner with sales and customer service to meet/exceed SLAs; serve as an extension of Sales to expand revenue with customers. Participate in service-oriented calls for accounts/customers; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards. Lead safety initiatives; support network optimization, sustainability, and capacity planning. Maintain professional, collaborative work environment; handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Occasional travel to terminals, customer sites, or operational meetings; on-call availability.
