Job Summary

Operations Manager at CLEAR, part of the airport leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of hourly Ambassadors. Spend at least 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport, ensuring CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with high security and integrity. Support the General Manager in essential duties for efficient station operation, enabling Ambassadors to perform duties related to security, service and sales. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and development of Ambassadors while fostering a culture of continuous learning. Coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards. Assist with employee relations matters and investigations. Analyze key metrics, customer feedback and on-the-floor observations to drive improvements. Build and foster internal and external stakeholder relationships and contribute as a trusted member of the local station leadership team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of leadership in a customer-facing operation, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, experience with employee engagement, customer satisfaction, sales, and compliance, daily technology use, and the ability to pass a government background investigation. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and be available for non-traditional schedules (weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings). The role offers a base salary range and comprehensive benefits as part of CLEAR’s compensation program.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (i.e. retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and influence others
  • Solid leadership and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • Experience with employee engagement, customer satisfaction, sales and adhering to compliance standards
  • Proficiency in using technology daily in your work
  • Required to successfully complete a government background investigation
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work a non-traditional schedule (i.e. weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings)
