Job Summary
Operates as a hands-on leader to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, materials management, inventory, shipping, safety initiatives, equipment maintenance, and shop personnel. Partners with engineering and leadership to support company growth, leads production meetings, drives continuous improvement, manages vendor relationships, and ensures on-time project delivery. Responsible for supervising shop personnel, coordinating with procurement, and maintaining backlog reporting tools while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Requires reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation, and possessing strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Associate degree in Engineering, Welding Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, production management, or operations management experience
- Background in welding, fabrication, sheet metal, pressure vessels, or industrial manufacturing environments
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and materials planning
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Associate degree in Engineering, Welding Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred
