Job Summary
Operations Manager within Global Equities Operations (GEO) Risk Reduction at JPMorganChase. Lead independent risk assessments, develop understanding of the Risk Management Framework, report findings to stakeholders, and guide improvement opportunities. Collaborate with GEO stakeholders and Control Managers to ensure effective risk controls, communicate issues clearly, and support training and change initiatives in a small team environment. Emphasizes independence, accountability, and proactive risk mitigation across equities operations including trade management, settlements, margin, and client funding processes. Strong analytical and communication skills required to synthesize risk analysis and present complex issues to management.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Operations, Controls Management, Operational Risk Management, Product Control, or Audit roles within Equities
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Equity Operations, including trade management, clearing, settlements, margin & collateral, payments, and reconciliations
