Job Summary
Lead the daily operation of the Camp Hill Distribution Center by coordinating team activities, evaluating operating methods, and driving improvements in accuracy, productivity, safety, and cost effectiveness. Own the EHS framework, lead audit teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while implementing risk assessments and updating JSAs. Provide technical guidance for operations and equipment, lead Lean AWOs to apply Six Sigma tools for continuous improvement, and conduct scrap or yield reviews to drive cost reductions. Deliver capacity studies, analyze productivity trends, and develop long-term plans to mitigate risks and improve on-time delivery. Lead daily production meetings and coordinate with customer-facing teams to allocate resources and execute production plans.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of management experience in a Distribution Center environment preferred
- Experience in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Staff mentoring and development
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to get results through a team
- Strategic thinking and ability to plan 3-6 months out
- Organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Technical skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling, and preventive maintenance
