Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations and maintenance activities of water and wastewater plants, lead a team of operators, ensure SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA) are met, communicate with account managers, conduct site visits, manage maintenance of trucks/equipment, budget creation and monthly reporting, and drive continuous performance improvements. Requires BA/BS in a related field, 5-7 years water/wastewater experience with supervisory responsibility, and state-specific Water/Wastewater licensing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and regulatory documentation; strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Physical duties include lifting and moving equipment; role is in-person at the Richmond, TX site per the posting.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in related field
- 5-7 years water/wastewater experience
- Two years supervisory experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Water/Wastewater Operator’s License specific to state/site requirements
- OSHA knowledge
- DOT regulations familiarity
- CDL preferred
