Job Summary
Operations Manager on the airport floor leading a team of hourly Ambassadors to maintain security, customer service, and sales performance. Responsibilities include spending ~80% of time on the floor, ensuring TSA and CLEAR procedures are followed, supporting the General Manager in station operations, recruiting/on-boarding Ambassadors, coaching to meet sales and service goals, handling employee relations matters, analyzing metrics and feedback to drive improvements, and fostering internal/external stakeholder relationships within the station leadership team. Requires hands-on leadership, experience in customer-facing operations, strong communication and coaching ability, technology proficiency, and the ability to pass a government background check. Available for non-traditional schedules and able to stand/walk for extended periods. Base salary range is $65,000 to $75,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and perks including PTO, wellness stipend, 401k, and family planning/leave programs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (e.g., retail, hospitality, food service)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to motivate and influence others
- Solid leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with employee engagement, customer satisfaction, sales, and adherence to compliance standards
- Proficiency in using technology daily in work
- Ability to successfully complete a government background investigation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Availability to work a non-traditional schedule (weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings)
