Job Summary
Manage shipping and production employees while establishing daily shipping, receiving, and production schedules. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics and direct supervision of staff, ensuring alignment with the Corporate purchasing team for material planning. Requires 2+ years of supervision experience, basic forklift knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for ticket printing, inventory tracking, and reporting. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Hanes Geo Components, a Leggett & Platt division, leads in geosynthetics and erosion control products for the construction industry.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision
- provide exceptional leadership
- Basic forklift knowledge
- Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cycle counting
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management
