Job Summary
Manage the Branch Manager's operational aspects, including production cycle times, raw material inventory, labor targets, delivery schedules, and hourly staff supervision. Ensure compliance with O.S.H.A. and D.O.T regulations, implement sales credit policies, and maintain operating expenses within budgeted standards. Coordinate control departments, act as an inside salesperson for counter and phone orders, and ensure the sales counter is staffed for walk-in customers. Handle customer complaints, delivery pricing disputes, and safeguard customer cash payments while maintaining office paper flow. Assist in establishing facility security procedures. Requires 2-5 years in wholesale roofing supplies, budgeting experience, and U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong and professional communication skills (verbal & written) when dealing with customers, vendors, management, and team members
- Minimum 2-5 years in wholesale roofing supplies (or equivalent) environment in middle management position
- Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to effectively staff, manage, and motivate personnel
- Customer Service mentality with experience in conflict resolution
- Ability to operate a PC & related software
- Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing workload
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to pass a company required drug test; employees are subject to random substance abuse screening under company policy
- High School diploma or equivalent
