Job Summary

Conduct all aspects of store operations, including managing inventory through cycle counts, reviewing profit and loss statements to drive profitability, and supervising cash handling and facility safety. Direct associate performance by training, developing, and disciplining staff while ensuring compliance with company policies and scheduling coverage during peak traffic. Coordinate logistics for truck appointments, warehouse resets, and e-commerce shipments, and assist with human resources, loss prevention, and budget adherence. Maintain store presentation standards and customer service excellence while managing administrative reporting and claims.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years retail management experience
  • proven ability direct operations
  • Ability to perform in a high volume, highly complex location
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter
  • Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, hiring, and training associates
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to exert 20-30 pounds of force frequently
  • Ability to exert greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Available to open and/or close the store
  • Ability to read and review a profit and loss statement
  • Ability to utilize computer and point of sale systems
  • Ability to supervise the cycle count and inventory counting processes
  • Ability to handle store level human resources or loss prevention issues
  • Ability to coordinate facility management
  • Ability to stay within budget with respect to controllable expenses
  • Ability to ensure brand standards and operating standards meet or exceed expectations
  • Ability to create an environment that is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and quick for customers and co-workers
  • Ability to engage customer focus during the pick-up and check-out process
  • Ability to handle claims and other KCM/MOD duties
  • Ability to ensure maximum scheduling coverage especially during peak traffic periods
  • Ability to Record-keeping and reporting of inventory, HR related matters and cash office records
  • Ability to Manage checkbook for P&L and assist the CEM with operational budget/spending and adherence
  • Ability to Assist the stales team with resets, displays and display credits
  • Ability to Administer W/C matters and associated claims
  • Ability to maintain OSHA logs
  • Ability to Direct/supervise truck appointments
  • Ability to communicate scheduling and manage scheduling issues
  • Ability to Assist with customer pick-ups, auditing storage and maintaining pre-sales
  • Ability to be involved in sales reset
  • Ability to Review and assess the performance of associates
  • Ability to Train, develop, supervise and define workload associates
  • Ability to Manage direct reports to ensure performance
  • Ability to Monitor associate retention and career development
  • Ability to Address and document unsatisfactory performance and policy violations of associates
  • Ability to Ensure compliance to scheduling, hiring, payroll and business planning processes
  • Ability to Monitor, maintain and follow company policies
  • Ability to Perform additional managerial duties as necessary
