Job Summary
Oversee the firm's operations desk by managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts and bank ledgers, and delivering precise portfolio statements and transaction confirmations. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the operations staff to maintain high performance standards while developing streamlined workflows and KPIs to maximize efficiency. Identify operational risks, implement robust controls to prevent errors or fraud, and ensure all activities comply with internal policies and UAE regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Trading, Compliance, and Finance teams to integrate end-to-end operational processes. Prepare documentation for operational audits and resolve client inquiries efficiently. Requires 5–10 years of experience in financial services operations with a proven track record of leading small teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in financial services operations
- Proven track record of managing and leading a small operations team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Deep understanding of financial operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, and proficiency in financial software
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the UAE financial markets
- Analytical mindset
- High attention to detail
- Strong team management abilities
- Capacity to handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Investment, Wealth Management, or Trading operations
- ACCA, CPA, or CFA
