Job Summary
Lead store operations at ALO by driving inventory accuracy, labor planning, and scheduling to ensure the store is customer-ready at all times. Oversee operational processes, monitor sell-through, manage budgets and business data with the General Manager, and coach the Operations team to embody the brand and deliver a Flow experience while maintaining efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally to meet inventory and sales floor KPIs, develop talent through recruitment and succession planning, and write schedules that align with business strategy. Must be able to move throughout the store, supervise in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong MS Office skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic retail environment are required. Also supports an inclusive workplace per the company’s EEO policy and is expected to work a variable schedule including peak periods and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
