Operations Manager - Facilities Maintenance

Job Summary
Oversee relationship and outcome management for Black & McDonald self-performed and managed work, ensuring processes guarantee service consistency and continuity. Demonstrate leadership across all Health, Safety, and Environment aspects for staff under care while acting as the Owner's Representative for stipulated tasks. Establish a governance model providing customers direct interface with senior management and hold primary responsibility for clear, comprehensive, and timely reporting. Address and rectify contractual or performance items with transparency, champion emerging technologies, and lead regular meetings to deliver monthly and quarterly performance updates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 - 5 years Management experience within Facilities Management and/or operations management experience in the Healthcare or Research Facilities
- Minimum of 10 years in progressive positions within FMO
- Able to travel within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Security clearance requirements: must be able to get reliability and vulnerable sector clearances
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with specific software packages and management tools (JDE / DSI / CMMS Dashboards, etc)
- Advanced analytical and time management skills
- Understanding of Facility Management processes and standards, either through work experience or qualifications

- A university degree in civil engineering, a CET, college diploma in construction technology, or related education is considered an asset
