Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee operations and maintenance of a wind power generating facility in Del Rio, TX, including substation and high-voltage work, wind turbine generator (WTG) units, and balance-of-plant activities. Lead and direct site contractors, develop cost-effective O&M programs, and ensure safe, compliant operations with regulatory and contract requirements. Provide oversight of site personnel and contractors, create site procedures and policies, monitor the operating budget, perform Up-Tower inspections, and interact with local utilities, regulatory agencies, and landowners. Travel 10-15% and be capable of climbing turbine towers and performing essential field duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in operations and maintenance of a wind or energy facility
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Budget / Project Management experience
- Proficient computer and software skills (MS Excel emphasized)
- Valid driver’s license
- 24/7 on-call availability
- Strong communication skills
- Contract execution experience
- Government regulation compliance experience
