Job Summary
Lead the safe, efficient and compliant operation of Ecogas' Reporoa plant as a hands-on Operations Manager. Drive plant performance, maintenance coordination, feedstock management, and process improvement while managing staff and contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and strong stakeholder engagement. Promote safety culture, optimise uptime and biogas production, oversee budgeting and reporting, and collaborate with internal teams and external councils/partners to deliver operational and commercial outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an operations, plant or site leadership role within an industrial or processing environment
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance coordination and process improvement
- Proven experience leading teams and contractors
- Strong understanding of health, safety, risk and compliance requirements
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound operational decisions
- Experience with plant monitoring and reporting systems
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Financial awareness, including budgeting and cost control
