Job Summary
Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day field and facility operations related to environmental remediation and waste management; ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, NYSDEC, EPA, OSHA; supervise field staff and drivers; coordinate transportation and disposal logistics; implement policies to maximize performance and minimize risk; collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors for timely, cost-effective project execution; maintain records such as manifests, inspection logs, and incident reports.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in environmental remediation, waste disposal, or related industry
- In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance and transport regulations
- Valid driver’s license; CDL and HAZWOPER certifications are a plus
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
