Job Summary
Support the Operations Team, including Warehouse, Counter, and Mobile Service units, by directing administration, distribution, and sales functions for the branch. Act as the primary point of contact for the HosePower Regional Outside Sales team to manage quotes, bids, and order entry while communicating with production and customers regarding ship dates and order issues. Facilitate production scheduling, expedite late vendor shipments, and source additional materials as needed to ensure current order status visibility across all team members. Serve as the first line of defense for the Branch Manager, particularly when they are off premises. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or 3-5 years of Industrial Hose industry experience, with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or 3-5 years' experience in the Industrial Hose industry
- Intermediate to Advance in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- willingness to learn new software programs
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components
